Sustainable Manufacturing – Our Commitment to the Environment
Individuals, governments and companies all have a responsibility to look after the world that we live in. There is no escaping the current global environmental movement, which is focusing on topics such as carbon footprint, recyclability, green energy and sustainability.
Impact International is committed to the environmentally responsible manufacturing of collapsible tubes. We have a no heavy metals policy, recycle processing scrap wherever possible and work with clients in a partnership to minimise waste. Whilst the sun is shining, our factory is powered by one of the largest privately-owned solar farms in Australia and we do not use evaporative chillers (a significant water saving). We encourage customers to visit our company, to view our manufacturing areas and then compare our commitment to quality and the environment to our competitors.
Globally, there is an increased focus on brand owners to understand their supply chain and to ensure that it is environmentally responsible. Consumers are more environmentally conscious, with research showing that brand owners perceived environmental credentials influences consumers decision to purchase one brand over another brand.
“Brands that establish a reputation for environmental stewardship among today’s youngest consumers have an opportunity to not only grow market share but build loyalty among the power-spending Millennials of tomorrow, too,” says Grace Farraj, SVP, Public Development & Sustainability at Nielsen Market research.
Through the use of sugar cane PE, recycled PE and technologically advanced printing techniques, Impact can help customers significantly improve their environmental standing in the market place, whilst offering excellent service, product knowledge and competitive pricing at the same time.
