By combining many different innovative factors, such as allowing the end user to return the empty tube to Impact and we will arrange for it to be recycled. We are the only tube maker that we know of who is offering such a service to brand owners.
Our Margorie tube was developed for brands that want to demonstrate their commitment to the environment and brand protection to their customers via their tube packaging.
The Australian government has set four national packaging waste targets, with the goal of achieving these targets by 2025. The four targets are:
> 100% of all Australia’s packaging will be reusable, recyclable or compostable by 2025 or earlier
> 70% of Australia’s plastic packaging will be recycled or composted by 2025
> 30% average recycled content will be included across all packaging by 2025
> Problematic and unnecessary single-use plastic packaging will be phased out through design, innovation or introduction of alternatives
Our Margorie tube meets all four targets as outlined above.
Research shows that Millennials prefer to purchase products from companies that they believe have environmentally sustainable practices. How brand owners present their environmental credentials will help determine if Millennials will trust a brand owner and ultimately, purchase their product(s).
Our Margorie tube is manufactured right here in Australia, a country which has some of the most stringent environmental legislation in the world. Having your tubes manufactured in Australia also significantly reduces your carbon foot print by not shipping empty tubes (containing air) around the world. According to a report published by the Guardian newspaper in the UK “just one of the world’s largest container ships can emit about as much pollution as 50 million cars. Further, the 15 largest ships in the world emit as much nitrogen oxide and sulphur oxide as the world’s 760 million cars.” So, not only are you supporting Australian jobs, you are also helping the environment.
Our Margorie tube can contain between 30% to 90% recycled polyethylene (PE). The recycled content is sourced from an Australian company and is processed so diligently, that our recycled PE is also FDA approved for direct food contact.
We are ahead of our time by more than 6 years before the Australian Government set target of 2025, Margorie meets all these Australian Government targets in 2019.
Our Margorie tube contains many unique and original selling points, such as containing recycled polyethylene (PE), using green energy from our own solar farm and sourcing recycled polyethylene from Australia. We do not import recycled material from overseas.
Our Margorie tube is 100% recyclable and can be disposed off in any Australian government / council recycling bin.
Using a smart QR code, allowing brand owners to be engaging directly with the consumer. We can provide details on the location of where the tubes are being scanned and provide valuable marketing information on how consumers are interacting with a brand.
